Hi there. I’m a freelance writer based in West Cornwall. I’ve worked on a wide variety of subjects, but I’m best known for True Crime, Military History, Motorsport History and Disability issues. When I’m not in Truro you’ll probably find me track-side at the Le Mans 24 Hours. I’m happily engaged, with three children. I enjoy reading, coffee and days out, when my life isn’t being run by Mistress Midnight, the family cat.
The blog is partly a personal thing, but it’s mainly an informal shop window. Any of the posts can be expanded, edited and otherwise hammered into a full article if required. It’s as much a chance to show what I can do and which areas I tend to specialise in as for me to scribble so, if you like what I do then drop me a line and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible. I tend to work more for fees, but I don’t mind doing the occasional freebie for a good cause or a decent writing credit.
I’m prompt, reliable, professional, flexible and affordable and I’m always happy to consider jobs outside of my usual specialisations. It helps keep the job interesting and stops me getting stale.
